Green stands for the cultivation of microalgae, a rapidly growing market with great economic potential and a variety of possible uses. The business area includes the production of microalgae biomass, the development of innovative, microalgae-based products, and the research of sustainable and energy-efficient production systems.

Since then we have tested and developed various production systems and examined and cultivated numerous microalgae strains. These include, for example, Phaeodactylum, Arthrospira (Spirulina), Porphyridium, Haematococcus and Nannochloropsis. Since then we have been researching the optimization of our production process, our algae cultivation systems and technologies for processing organisms.

Our focus is on the production of natural astaxanthin from Haematococcus pluvialis. Our Open Raceway Ponds are used for the production of Spirulina biomass.

By using a centrifuge, ball mill and spray dryer, we can map the entire upstream and downstream process at our location so that the microalgae can be produced and processed directly on site. It is important to us that we can go through all production and processing steps in Germany and that a complete value chain with the label ‘Made in Germany‘ can be created.

Together with partners from research, science, and business, we work on projects and use our international connections to continuously improve our production.

[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][et_pb_row _builder_version=“4.4.9″
