Within Aalborg University, the <\/span> Department of Planning works with planning, technology and society and focuses on creating a more sustainable future. <\/span>The department is interdisciplinary in technical, natural and social science disciplines and presents a unique combination of social and technological understanding where digital and technical solutions merge with the needs of the society.<\/span><\/p>\n Our research and teaching focusses on sustainability including sustainable transition, design, circular economy, consumption and production, environmental assessment, technological assessment, energy planning, marine management, surveying, land use and problem-based learning. The Danish Centre for Environmental Assessment – DCEA, within the Department of Planning, hosts the staff working on the AquaHealth project. DCEA is an interdisciplinary research group of experts in sustainability assessment, in particular includes internationally recognized experts in environmental impact assessment and life cycle assessment. Researchers at DCEA have a variety of backgrounds from environmental science and engineering to economics and sociology, and are skilled in qualitative, quantitative, and mixed methods research, ranging from modelling and data analysis to stakeholder involvement and surveying.<\/span><\/p>\n
